Jubilate was formed in 1999 and currently has around 35 members. Led by professional singer and choral director Sarah Stroh, the choir is known for its entertaining repertoire, high standard of performance and sense of fun. Jubilate’s slogan is ‘Voices in Celebration’, which reflects our love of singing and laughter. We take our singing seriously but not ourselves!
In May 2018 we won four trophies – including the prestigious Gold Cup for most outstanding choir – at the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts. In December 2017 a track from our Christmas CD was broadcast on Classic FM and we’ve also been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, singing three pieces composed especially for us by Ailie Robertson as part of Making Music’s Adopt a Composer scheme.
